Ranch Bath Addition

A new master bath was added to an existing ranch home.  The addition was added to the end of the home with entry gained through enlarging an existing window opening.  The layout included a shared area for the tub and shower such that a bench seat merges the two.  A frame-less glass shower enclosure visually expands the space of the shower, while a curb-less floor design was employed as an “aging in place” access feature.  A make-up desk with a view out separates, and connects, the two custom made vanities with flush inset drawers and accessible storage.  Custom cabinetry was built into another existing window opening creating a towel and robe storage closet with display shelves.  The existing original exterior wall was left as an exposed brick finish.  Custom cabinetry and bath design by gordon architecture, inc. in collaboration with the home owner.
